Week Three: The Hug Day After Math(The Freshman Experience)
Oh My GOODNESS!! I really think that Free Hug Day was a SUCCESS!! To start off while I was on my way out of my dorm this guy just stopped in the middle of the hallway and opened his arms and starred at me, and for a couple of seconds I forgot I had just put on my "Free Hugs" shirt then snapped and was like "ooh!" and gave him a big hug ! and then of course went out to give MORE Free Hugs ! Which then I had a mix of crazy enthusiastic hugs, to people giving me some really wierd looks, and some dirty ones (cough, cough Frat boys >:( , not like anyone was really going to come over to yall anyways )they needed the hugs the most CLEARLY lol! But anyways what I found to be the most heart warming was even though some people didn't want hugs you could tell it brightened there day just to see us doing that, I would watch people as they walked a way and right when they thought no one could really see them they would let the tiniest smile crawl on to there face ! And it was just so great to hear people say "thank you !" and know that they genuinely meant it ! Oh and one of my favorite people had to be that one man who was like "call me sugar bear" which was pretty creepy but i knew it wasn't meant that way since he was telling our entire class that. And today I'm pretty sure Kirsten and I had probably the best time because we stayed there for a good ten fifteen minutes after everyone left giving more hugs !! But the Highlight of my day was after my math class, I was feeling really tired and kinda bummed when this other guy in my dorm stopped me on my way in and said " I need a hug !, I haven't had a hug all DAY !!" and he gave me a big hug which hopefully made his day, because it really made mine, even though I had been giving them all morning it wasn't til that afternoon that I needed one, it couldn't have been any better timing !Oh and I'm really nervous about the whole Hurricane Ike thing because my home town of La Porte which is right in between Houston & Galveston is pretty much guaranteed to get hit, hard.so I'm praying that all my friends and my home ( which still has my room with all my stuff ) is safe!!!
Week Two: In Preparation(the freshman experience)
So this Free Hugs thing is going to be amazing I'm truly psyched about this, and I don't know about everyone else but I'm totally down about making shirts I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday and was about to buy the stuff to make a shirt but I wasn't sure if I was going to be the only one but "littlemermaid23" I'm totally meeting you down there at 8 ! as much as I'm excited about this Thursday I'm almost just as excited about writing my blog on how the experience was !!!Well I guess that's all for now !! See y'all in class !

Week One (the freshman experience)
Soooo, I just got back from the First Football Game and WE WON!!! Whoooooo I had soooooo much fun tonight ! And I was on the Big Screen TWICE and i got a picture with Boko!! Definitly the highlight of my week. So I'm really excited about going to US 1100 again I think it is and will be my favorite class and im totally psyched about our free hug day I even said I was attending on facebook hahaha ! I have recently discovered a new fear of mine, that is to take my car off campus and coming back to not find a parking spot anywhere, I have been trying my best to go and do things that are in walking distance or where someone else can drive, haha, but I have to get over that because tomorrow I have to go spend a couple hundred DOLLAR$$ on stupid Art supplise I dont see why we cant just use crayola but whatever. Anyways see yall at class Bye !!!!
The Start of Something Good (the freshman experience)
So Im pretty sure everyone is thinking the same thing that I am , that being that our US class teacher is pretty much the best! And no im not trying to suck up but seriously our assignment is to BLOG how great is that and look at how many of us have already started! So for this year Im kinda nervous, all summer long I literally counted down untill move in day now im here and i have the weirdest mixed feelings about being here. Half of me is suuuper excited and really enjoying my time with all the new people i have met (like my US class i really like yall i think were going to have fun!), but then the other half is sorta sad. See me and my mom are really close so i miss her alot, along with all my friends who i grew so close to this summer and then boom i left and now im here. I think things will get a little better once i meet more people and the year starts to get into full swing, so as for now im hoping for the best !!!Ps sorry this is sooooo long haha its ok if you dont read it all :]
